New reverse light switch.
The reverse light switch is responsible for indicating reverse gear selection on the gearshift lever. When the gear lever is activated, the internal rod present in the gearbox activates the switch through a contact spring - which closes the electrical contact, sending an electrical signal to activate the reverse lights.
