This is a 16 LED 4x4 matrix module. This module is comprised of 16 5050 RGB LED chips. The 5050 LED chips include 3 LED diodes per chip, red, green, and blue. These three colors allow for the full color gamut depending on the intensity of the individual LED diodes. They are used when you need slight illumination for your project area and especially RGB color changing lights. All 16 LEDs can be controlled with a single set of 4-pin inputs via a 5050 driver module. All 16 LEDs are daisy-chained together.
