-Use a flat-head screwdriver to separate doggie door so you have 4 parts(frames, flaps) and cut down 2 black tabs. Tabs can push one into a hole on one side to lock the door to stop pets go in and out, double-sided slots lockable.
-Apply the glue inside doggy door frame to fix it during installation, but the package does not come with the glue, recommend purchase Gorilla Glue. Whether you end up using glue or not, you need to use zip ties (attached) to hold the outer frame top or bottom to keep the door from separating and falling.
