Features of ORTOFON EQA-333 :
The ultimate low cost performance phono equalizer amplifier that perfectly matches the characteristics of the ORTOFON low impedance MC cartridge.
The MC head amplifier is equipped with a differential input circuit that uses a high-gm low-noise FET to ensure stability and achieve wide bandwidth and low distortion. By using two FETs in parallel, the S/N ratio when mounting a low impedance cartridge was improved, and low noise characteristics at a practical level were realized. The gain is set to 20 dB.
The MM input circuit is equipped with a low noise, high gain, high slew rate FET input operation amplifier, and the equalizer circuit is an NF type that has a well-established reputation for natural sound quality. The gain is set to 40 dB.
For the circuit resistance, a metal film resistance that is advantageous in terms of sound quality and S/N ratio is used, and a highly reliable glass double-sided board (PCB) is used.
High quality gold plating is used for the input/output RCA terminal and GND terminal.
