En video, con los ND se logra un efecto cinematográfico, la imagen en movimiento se ve ligeramente borrosa como lo ve el ojo humano (Motion Blur). En fotografía, al reducir la cantidad de luz, permite abrir más tiempo el obturador logrando por ejemplo el agua tipo seda, entre otros efectos
El polarizador, tanto en video como en fotografía, reduce los reflejos en el agua y cristales, satura los colores y hace más azul el cielo.
El UV filtra los rayos ultravioletas y sirven de protección de la lente en caso de choque.
La óptica son de cristrales multicapa resistente al agua, los golpes, el aceite y la suciedad.

ND4 helps to slow down the shutter speed by 2 f-stops.You can use it in the morning/evening.No color change.
ND8 helps to slow down the shutter speed by 3 f-stops.You can use it in the Partly Cloudy day.No color change.
